The Oporto Golf Course is located just 17km to the south of Porto city by the beautiful beaches of Espinho. The course is the fifth oldest in Continental Europe being established in 1890 when British residents in Porto created the club.
This is an authentic links course, relatively short with narrow fairways, together with the north wind, are the main obstacles, starting out with a difficult Par 4. In terms of challenging holes, number 11 cannot be forgotten. As if to balance the difficulties of these holes, each of Oporto course´s two halves ends with a very accessible Par 5, provide some exciting endings.
