Reservation Terms & Conditions
How to Make a Reservation
Reservations can be made by telephone, fax and email, or directly at CostaLessGolf Booking Office. On acceptance of our quotation your reservation will be processed and confirmed to you in writing via e-mail or fax.
Payment
A 10% deposit of total costs is required within 7 days from confirmation date of reservation made in order to secure your reservation and price quoted. The outstanding balance of the total costs of your reservation is required to be paid in full 8 weeks prior to start date of your reservations. Reservations confirmed less than 8 weeks prior to start date of your reservation will require total costs to be paid in full to secure your reservation.
All quotes and confirmations are calculated in euro. CostalessGolf.com accepts the following forms of payment: – Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch, Electron, Solo and Delta. Please note all reservation incur an additional 1% booking fee which is calculated on payment of deposit and final balance. CostaLessGolf S.L. has no control or responsibility over clients personal bank account or credit card exchange rates at the time of transaction which may fluctuate based on the current daily market. All rates quoted for deposit will be honored as agreed on confirmation and are not subject to fluctuation of exchange rates. Payment of final or full balance will be calculated in euro and the rate will be calculated and confirmed based on the current daily market rate on your day of payment.
If clients request pay in Sterling via Barclays Bank Account you must contact CostalessGolf S.L and the rate will be calculated and confirmed based on the current daily market rate on your day of payment.
CostalessGolf S.L accepts no responsibility for any changes to Taxes and VAT or any other government changes. At time of confirmation of your reservation all information and descriptions are correct.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via e-mail or fax.
Cancellation charges for Golf, Accommodation, Car Hire and Transfers:-
8 weeks prior to the start of your reservation -100% refund.
6-8 weeks prior to the start date of your reservation – 50% of total costs of your reservation will be charged.
6 weeks or less prior to the start of your reservation -100% of total costs of your reservation will be charged.
Flights: – No refund will be issued after confirmation of booking.
Booking Confirmation
All prices quoted by CostaLessGolf S.L. are per person and based on twin/double occupancy Single rooms are available at all hotels however they often occur a supplement.
If you have any special requests and medical problems you must advise us at the time of booking. Although we will endeavor to meet any such requests we regret we cannot guarantee to do so.
Please check the confirmation carefully to make sure that all your booking details are correct. Contact CostaLessGolf if your confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete in order to make the necessary changes.
Amendments to Confirmed Reservations
For Golf, Accommodation, Car Hire and Transfers – 8 weeks prior to start date of your reservation – no charge.
For Golf, Accommodation, Car Hire and Transfers – 8 weeks or less prior to start date of your reservation – a charge of 25€ per individual administration charged will be made to you the client.
For Flights – from initial date of confirmation booking – Name and Flight Date Changes – Charges will be incurred with costs subject to the independent airline terms and conditions and will be charged to you the client accordingly. CostaLessGolf S.L. accepts no responsibility or liability for increased charges by independent airlines.
Passports, Visas and Health Requirements
A passport is necessary to travel to all countries. Most European countries enjoy the same level of medical service as Great Britain, however CostaLessGolf recommends that all clients insure themselves adequately. Some insurance companies may consider the game of golf as a dangerous sport and you should mention your participation when obtaining a quotation. You should also ensure that your golf equipment is covered in the policy. If you are visiting EU community countries or Switzerland you may obtain a European Health Insurance Card EHIC. You can obtain your EHIC through the NHS website. Certain countries require a pre-arranged entry visa and certain passport validity conditions; CostaLessGolf S.L accepts no responsibility for these requirements and advises all travellers to ensure that the requisite documents are in place prior to travel. During your Golf Holiday
Weather conditions. Bad weather is unavoidable during the course of the year and as a result golf courses may either close or the golf course will operate temporary tees and greens at their sole discretion. Golf courses reserve the right to close or operate temporary tee boxes / greens.
If the golf course is closed prior to playing, a full refund will be granted. If the Course becomes closed during play it is at the discretion of the Golf Course to issue a Rain Voucher depending on how many holes have been played. If the Golf Course remains open and deemed playable, no refund will be given if play is not completed. Any vouchers issued at the Company´s discretion may be used for future bookings with CostaLessGolf. S.L.
Golf played on temporary greens and tees is non-refundable and is considered to be an accepted part of playing golf during periods of bad weather. Please note that trolley and buggy bans occur frequently when a course is wet and are determined by those in charge of the golf course. CostaLessGolf. S.L cannot be held responsible due to inclement weather conditions
Force majeure. CostaLessGolf S.L. will not be liable for additional expenses incurred through travel delay, Acts of God, force majeure or events beyond our control. Force majeure is unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control such as war or threat of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions.
Standard of play. Knowledge of golf etiquette and the rules of golf are expected by all members of your group. Some golf courses will require handicap certificates before accepting visitors, which we will try to advise you at the time of booking. Or may incur a small daily insurance fee if clients are not federated.
Tee times. Golf Courses reserve the right to alter confirmed tee times. If your confirmed golf club cancel your reservation or change your tee time we will try to find you a suitable alternative. You will be charged or refunded for any difference in the original cost. Such changes do not entitle you to cancel a holiday that is part of a package. Please also be aware that some golf courses may pair you up with other golfers during peak times.
Conditions of golf course. The condition of golf courses varies throughout the year. General golf course maintenance on tee boxes, fairways and greens are an essential feature of golf course preparation. CostaLessGolf S.L. cannot be held responsible for the impact of such works
Descriptions. . The descriptions of the hotels and golf courses and other aspects of the holidays are based on opinions gained on site visits and on the opinions of the hotel themselves. We are not always able to exercise control over the components of the holiday arrangements and it is possible that an advertised amenity be withdrawn or changed due to various reasons such as water conservation, renovation works etc. If we are aware of a major change we will advise you but we cannot accept liability for loss, damage or inconvenience in such circumstances.
Changes and cancellations by us. . CostaLessGolf S.L. reserves the right to make changes to and correct errors on our website both before and after bookings have been confirmed.
Behaviour. Throughout your booking with CostaLessGolf S.L. you accept full liability for any damage or loss caused by you or any member of your group.
Extras. City Tax and all extras consumed on site such as food, drink, entertainment, spa treatments and transport must be paid for by the client. Your booking with CostaLessGolf S.L. only includes the package set out in your final reservation confirmation. We accept no liability for any charges you consume on site in relation to any extras outside your package.
Complaints
CostaLessGolf S.L. acts as an agent for each hotel. If you have a complaint or experience any problems during your holiday please inform the hotel immediately during the holiday. However in the unlikely event that you experience any problems related to your reservation, contact us immediately and we will endeavor to assist and rectify the issue.
