The Par 72 international championship Arizona desert style course of Desert Springs is situated in Almeria and was opened to the public in 2001.
The course was designed by Peter McEvoy and has been used for many Spanish championship tournaments. The Indiana course can be both fun and challenging, and always visually stunning; bright green fairways contrast vibrantly with the surrounding arid landscape of the cactus, rock and flowering desert.
Over 500,000 plants were planted on the Indiana Course, where you will also encounter 104 bird species. There are 150,000 cactus on the course, from 209 different species which were cultivated in their own nursery. Enhancing the appeal of Desert Springs are properties available for rental with the option of Self Catering, Bed and Breakfast, Half Board or Full Board.
