Robert Trent Jones Senior redesigned the course in 1991, creating a true masterpiece on a par with his other fabulous creations which include Valderrama and Spyglass Hill of Pebble Beach.The course has been described by golf journalists as one of the most scenic on the European Tour. It provides a spectacular golfing experience with its challenging terrain, ample fairways, beautiful lakes, strategic bunkers and four different tee positions.Improvements are carried out on the course every year to maintain its appealing quality of being highly challenging without being too severe.
