The course is located close to the historic town of Castro Marim and has a very rural feel, set in the small hills that surround the town and dotted with pines and occasional views across the River Guadiana to neighboring Spain. This course requires careful play as it has strategically placed water hazards and fairway that contain terrain that can put you in some troublesome positions. This is without mentioning the well placed bunkers waiting for an approaching ball. The par-3 on the seventeenth is a hole that calls for a special club selection, with bunkers in front of the green and a shimmering lake behind, whilst being subject to the prevailing winds off the Algarve coast.
The variety provided by the three nine hole courses – The Guadiana, The Atlantic and The Grouse – means you’ll never get tired of playing golf here.
