The Macdonald Dona Lola is a large resort set on Torre de Calahonda Beach and built around a 270ft curved swimming pool with sub-tropical gardens and tumbling waterfalls. There is a selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments, all apartments have a spacious living area with flat screen tv and equipped with air-conditioning, telephone, safe deposit box, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

Food & beverage

For those not wishing to self-cater, a range of traditional Spanish cuisine is served in the Dona Lola´s brasserie restaurant. There is also a bar on the resort.

Golf

The resort is ideally situated for golf lovers and is within 15 minutes drive from 4 courses. These include Miraflores, Cabopino,  Chaparall and Mijas Golf.
