Considered to be one of the best looked after golf courses on the Costa del Sol, Santa Maria is situated between small valleys of pine trees and cork oaks, and less than 200 metres from one of the best beaches in Marbella, in the Elviria area of the Costa del Sol.
The Spanish 18 hole golf course, built in 1991, offers players of all levels a challenging game in a beautiful environment with views to the Mediterranean Sea and forested mountains. The first nine holes were designed by Antonio Garcia Garrido. Following the natural contours of the landscape and incorporating features such as streams and lakes, most of the tees are elevated and the greens are spacious. On the 11th hole a lake and waterfall border the green.
A 19th Century Spanish Cortijo with extensive gardens serves as the clubhouse at Santa Maria, where you can enjoy fine dining in the H19 Restaurant, enjoy a game of tennis, while in the Pro Shop you will find the best golf equipment at the best prices.
Located a short distance from Marbella and Puerto Banus with their cosmopolitan atmospheres and wide range of shopping and entertainment, and just 40 minutes from Malaga International Airport, Santa Maria is a great place for golf breaks or holidays on the Costa del Sol.
