Golf Las Americas is in a privileged setting, sitting as it does, in a natural amphitheatre, with a dramatic backdrop of mountains to the back and views across the sea to La Gomera at the front. Once on the course, it is hard to believe that the hustle and bustle of Las Americas and Los Cristianos, Tenerife’s main tourist resorts, is only a stone’s throw away.
In addition, the course is rich with plants and trees including many kinds of palm such as the Washington, Phoenix, Date, Philippians and Kent. Native species take pride of place with fine specimens of dragon tree (Dracaena draco) and a variety of giant cactii and indigenous succulents.
